FIGURES  It is through education and training in the behavioral sciences and work as a couples' therapist, I have developed an understanding of relationships.   I use this to approach the painting of people. My figures are metaphors for connection vs isolation, innocence vs calculation, intimacy vs detachment, and serenity vs anxiety. It is not just about documenting a moment in a person’s life, but a contemplation of the universal and the timeless.
